Essel Infraprojects Limited deploys all women toll collection staff at Devenahalli toll plaza in Bengaluru on International Women’s Day

Bengaluru, March 8: As a tribute to its women workforce, Essel Infraprojects Limited (EIL), a part of Dr. Subhash Chandra led diversified Essel conglomerate and country’s largest integrated player in Infrastructure with presence in Transports, Utilities, Green & Enviornment space deployed an all women toll collecting staff in the day shift at its Devenahalli toll plaza, Bengaluru Airport on the International Women’s Day on March 8, 2018, Thursday.

The decision to deploy all women staff at the toll plaza is aimed at achieving company’s vision to create a ‘Social Enterprise’ and “Sustainable Businesses’ that are socially relevant and play their role in nation-building, command respect and create value for stakeholders” and create world class culture in Essel Infra.The toll plaza has been equipped with lavatory and other necessary facilities.

Speaking on the occasion Mr Mohit Gupta , Head Operations & Maintenance, Essel Infraprojects Ltd said, “Women empowerment has been the core of EIL’s management philosophy and we are going to ensure that this remains not just a catchphrase but the mainstay of our operations.”

March 8 is celebrated as International Women's Day in many countries around the world. It is a day when women are recognized for their achievements in various fields.
